sparkpeople.com Here is my page there (Helenchristine): http://www.sparkpeople.com/mypage.asp I've been a member of sparkpeople for many years. It is a free site for weight loss support. The support groups are fabulous. You can find a group to join that meets whatever your interests are. I lost 50 lbs with them after my 4th child. I had another baby and have to lose those 50 lbs again...
http://www.insideoutstyleblog.com/ This is my very favorite website for style advice
http://theviviennefiles.blogspot.com/ Amazing amount of ideas in creating wardrobe capsules
http://www.missussmartypants.com/index.php?route=forum/forum This is a style website that you need to pay to get access to, but the forum is free and I enjoy going there and chatting with other ladies and sharing information back and forth. Very supportive.
http://www.thegabrielmethod.com/free-stuff I really like the Gabriel method of losing weight. I'm applying his advice now. You can join his paid access here: http://www.thegabrielmethod.com/members/login/ I joined the support group for a month ($40/month) and learned so much. It is well worth the $40.
www.freecycle.org This is a site where you can join in your township and list things you want to give away (you'll pick someone who e-mails you and give them your address, put it outside and they pick it up) or you can respond to things others list that they want to give away and if they respond to you by e-mail, you drive to their house and pick it up. We've benefited so much from this group.
www.beyonddiet.com This site you have to pay for, a one-time payment of $40, and then you're a member for life. Isabel is always keeping up with the latest research on health and sharing it with us. Her recipes are healthy and delicious (I share many on this blog). There is also support among the members, but I have not participated in it. You can like her on facebook and enjoy many great recipes here: https://www.facebook.com/beyonddiet
www.thriftbooks.com A great site for buying used books. You can get just about any book you want for under $4.00. I get a lot of my homeschool books there, especially the readers recommended by Sonlight.com.
www.amazon.com I guess we all shop there a lot. What I like best about amazon is that you can get a lot of reviews on different products before buying.
www.ebay.com I buy most of my clothes there. The kids buy video games and ipods there... and many other things. I do get a lot of homeschool books on ebay too. I compare the prices on ebay to the ones on thriftbooks. Thriftbooks is usually cheaper.
